1: How do I set up my Voicemail?
From your cell phone or a land line phone dial your cell phone number. When you reach your default voicemail message, interrupt it by pressing the * key. You will then be prompted for a password. It is the default 123 or a password you set up previously. After you input the password follow with a *. You will then hear a woman's voice, you may listen to her greeting or interrupt it with the * key. All you need to do from there is follow her voice prompts and instructions.

2: How do I change my voicemail message once I have already set it up?
Dial into your voicemail box and when you hear that you have no messages, simply press 444. It will take you through the same tutorial as mentioned above.

3: How do I pay my bill?
There are several ways to pay your bill from US Cellular. Note: The only way you can pay by phone or in a store is if you are an authorized user or the actual account holder.

- MANAGE MY ACCOUNT ONLINE -
Click on the Manage My Account link in the navagational bar at the top or bottom of any page on our website. When you register with
US Cellular you can:

  • View and pay your bills online
  • View minutes of use
  • Register additional accounts to your profile

It's convenient and secure.
           
- CREDIT CARD/CHECK -
Dial # P A Y from your cell phone. This is a free call for you and entirely automated with very easy to follow instructions. Call customer service @ 1.888.944.9400 and speak with financial services to make a payment or payment arrangements.

Dial * 6 1 1 on your cell phone. This is also a free call for you and the same as calling the above customer service number.

- CASH -
You can visit 4 of our 6 locations and pay with cash. You must bring in a copy of the current bill to have your payment processed correctly.

Certainly! US Cellular does not charge you anything, nor do they “renew” your service agreement if you want to change your calling plan. You can even change your plan once a month if you want! It’s just US Cellular’s way of giving you the best service in the industry.

8: I have never heard of US Cellular. How long have they been around?
US Cellular was one of the first cellular carriers in the U.S. They were founded in 1983 and have been going strong ever since. Developed privately by TDS (Telephone & Data Systems) they are one of the few wireless companies that didn’t evolve from large tel-com/bell company acquisitions.
